Host
IDS for HP-UX
What
is Host IDS?
HP intrusion detection system 9000 (also known as host IDS) is a
security product for Hewlett Packard servers and workstations. HP
builds this host-based intrusion detection system for HP’s
Unix operating system. Many system administrators are unaware of
this essential operating system module even exists, let alone that
HP provides it for free.
